Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift assignments. This 13-week contract requires delivering quality care, supervising licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants, and ensuring patient safety.

The RN will perform initial assessments, develop care plans, document care, and participate in discharge planning. Night schedule: 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required before first shift.
• ACLS certification required before first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within the first 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Engage in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care focusing on education and goal achievement.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Facilitate communication regarding patient status changes among care providers.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Ensure personal and environmental safety in line with hospital policies.
• Participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
• Assume charge responsibility as directed after the orientation period.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education.

Job Description
