ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift on a 13-week contract. The role involves supervising LPNs and CNAs while ensuring quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Identifies teaching needs and collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Participates in rehabilitation programs and employs the nursing process for direct patient care.
• Initiates discharge planning and patient education starting from admission.
• Communicates changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and safety.
• Supervises and trains ancillary nursing personnel and delegates tasks appropriately.
• Maintains safety standards in personal and environmental practices.
• Assumes charge responsibilities and contributes positively to unit functioning and team dynamics.
• Engages in professional development and effective time management to meet patient needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants while promoting patient and employee safety.
