Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA seeks an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on a full-time nightSHIFT. The unit bridges ICU to floor care, delivering high acuity nursing in a patient-centered environment.

You will work with a collaborative team, use state-of-the-art technology, and participate in research that advances patient outcomes. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership and communication abilities required.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical judgments.
• Demonstrated initiative and capacity to manage stressful environments.
• Graduate of a nursing program with an active Georgia RN license and BLS.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certifications a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients across age lifecycles and develop care plans.
• Evaluate patient development and educate patients/families.
• Organize data and determine care needs and outcomes.
• Execute the plan of care and adjust as needed to achieve outcomes.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on condition and plan.
• Supervise ancillary staff and coordinate care activities.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide patient education resources.
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Manager/Physician as appropriate.
• Document care and concerns in patient records.
