Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This full-time night shift offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

You will provide high-acuity nursing care bridging ICU and med-surg, using state-of-the-art technology to support safe, evidence-based practice in a collaborative environment. As part of Piedmont Eastside, you’ll work with a motivated team focused on patient-centered care, autonomy, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Current GA RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of hospital nursing experience for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments gathering data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Organizes data to formulate a plan of care and identifies expected patient outcomes.
• Carries out plan of care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Provides care aligned with patient needs and plan; adjusts for severity of condition.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support team members.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides resources to meet educational goals.
