Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step Down). This full-time night-shift position is based in Snellville, GA and offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

The role emphasizes evidence-based, patient-centered care, autonomy, teamwork, and accountability in a high-acuity setting. The RN will assess and plan care, coordinate with the care team, and participate in ongoing professional development using state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current GA RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate license.
• BLS certification.
• For PRN positions: one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient assessments including data on physical, psychosocial and health history.
• Evaluates developmental age for assessments, education and treatments.
• Organizes data into plan of care, identifies needs and expected outcomes.
• Carries out plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Delivers patient care appropriate to diagnosis and needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support team members.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides patient education resources.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager or physician as appropriate.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the chart.
