Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking an experienced RN for the Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down unit on nights. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and opportunities to work with state-of-the-art technology in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The RN will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing professional development to improve patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program required.
• New Graduates eligible for this position.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and collect data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Evaluate developmental age during assessments and education.
• Organize patient data and formulate a care plan with expected outcomes.
• Carry out the care plan to achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the severity of the condition and identified needs.
• Oversee activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patient education.
• Communicate issues to the Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician as appropriate.
• Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
