SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in the PreOp/PACU area to support perioperative care across the recovery continuum. The RN will assess patients pre- and postoperatively, administer medications, monitor vital signs and airway status, and apply perianesthesia plans of care in alignment with facility policies.

Qualifications include acute nursing experience, active nursing licensure, BLS/BCLS and ACLS within set timelines; pediatric care involvement may require PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included in facility scope.

Responsabilités

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per policy including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, hemodynamic, pain and mental status.
• Interpret information from monitors and describe disease pathophysiology and anesthesia-related physiology.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care and implement care across recovery phases.
• Provide hand-off reports and education to patients and families as needed.
• Perform all duties in accordance with patient safety and facility policies.
