Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license in good standing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS required; PALS if pediatric care is included, within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per policy.
• Interpret monitors and describe underlying pathophysiology.
• Develop and implement the perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide hand-off reports and educate patients and families.
