Job summary
Top Dog Recruiting is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Great Falls, Montana. This on-site role requires a skilled RN with post-graduate PCU/ICU experience to deliver high-quality nursing care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
The position emphasizes strong nurse-to-patient ratios, a supportive clinical environment, and commitment to patient safety. Montana licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required or obtained within 6 months.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
- Active Montana RN license or compact/endorsement eligibility.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or within 6 months).
- Post-graduate ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable/unstable PCU patients.
- Manage care for pre/post-PCI, pacemaker, revascularization, and complex surgeries.
- Monitor for deterioration with telemetry and intervene promptly.
- Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, and IV pumps.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge.
- Precept and support LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
