Key People is seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Great Falls, Montana. The RN will join a specialized clinical team in a supportive environment with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios.

Ideal candidates have post-graduate PCU/stepdown experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS certification, and Montana RN licensure. The role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and comprehensive discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN license (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients on an advanced medical/surgical stepdown unit.
• Manage diverse patient population including post-procedure and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor and respond to evolving conditions using telemetry and critical care interventions.
• Operate arterial/central lines and other acute care equipment with safe practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Precept new staff and support LPNs and CNAs on the floor.
