Top Dog Recruiting is assisting a regional healthcare system in Great Falls, MT to hire a Progressive Care Unit RN. The role focuses on hemodynamically stable or unstable patients in PCU/stepdown, with strong teamwork and patient ratios.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN (BSN preferred), MT RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with post‑grad Med/Surg and PCU/ICU experience; pediatric nursing is a plus. On-site, day shifts, full-time, excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• Montana RN licensure or compact eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Post-graduate Med/Surg and PCU/Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients, ensuring stability.
• Care for pre/post-PCI, pacemakers, revascularization, COPD, CHF.
• Monitor for deterioration and intervene early.
• Operate arterial/central lines and ventilatory support equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge.
• Support floor leadership and mentor LPNs and CNAs.
