Essenti Talent seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated clinical team in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, nights-shift position emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, strong administrative backing, and a culture of teamwork and compassion.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Montana is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or must be obtained within 6 months). EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Proven post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to hemodynamically stable or unstable patients on a PCU/stepdown unit.
• Manage diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care, pacemaker placements, revascularization, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, sepsis, and complex surgeries.
• Monitor for deterioration using assessment tools and stabilize conditions.
• Operate advanced medical equipment (arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, IV pumps, short-term ventilation).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Serve as clinical leader on the floor, precepting staff and guiding LPNs/CNAs.
