Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Neuro PCU RN in Mesa, AZ, to join a 36-bed telemetry unit on a Day shift with weekend rotations. The role offers a hire-on bonus and opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 Trauma designated hospital.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality care. The unit emphasizes teamwork and leadership in delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and revise a plan of care in collaboration with the health team.
• Implement the plan of care with supervision and ensure accurate communication.
• Evaluate patient progress and outcomes with the care team.
• Document care activities and patient responses in the medical record.
