Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver expert patient care within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing practices, coordination with physicians and support services, and ongoing professional development.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, and ensure safe transitions of care. Minimum BSN or progress toward degree, with nursing experience or Nurse Residency enrollment, is required.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency participation.
• Ability to learn quickly with accountability and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health.
• Performs age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develops and coordinates a patient/family-centered plan of care.
• Communicates and documents the plan of care with the health care team.
