Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate nursing services for a diverse patient population. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and the health care team.

The RN will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and educate patients and families. A BSN within three years of hire is preferred, with a current NJ RN license and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma required.
• BSN in progress or within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active Nurse Residency with Hackensack Meridian Health.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.
• Performs age- and disease-specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Develops and coordinates a plan of care which is patient/family focused and prioritized.
• Communicates and coordinates the plan of care with the health care team.
• Provides ongoing patient/family education as needed and ensures understanding.
