Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based nursing practices and coordinating care.

The role emphasizes data collection, assessments, planning of care, patient education, and safe medication administration, with opportunities to grow knowledge and take on increasing responsibilities.

You'll work with standards and policies, and contribute to safe transitions and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency participation.
• Ability to learn quickly, accountability, teamwork, ongoing education and delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.
• Performs age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develops a plan of care and coordinates it with nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Communicates and implements the plan of care with the health care team.
