Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across a range of complex conditions in a collaborative team environment.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with physicians and support staff. BSN in progress is encouraged; six months of nursing experience is preferred. This on-site role supports transitions of care and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
• Ability to learn quickly, teamwork, accountability, and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, peers and support services.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and education needs.
• Document assessments and interventions consistently in the EHR.
• Assist with discharge planning and care transitions.
