Job summary

Concord Hospital in Concord, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Ortho Unit on the night shift. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a patient population with multisystem needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Preferred BSN, NH RN license and BLS. At least one year of clinical nursing experience required; you will collaborate with the health care team, supervise licensed staff, administer medications and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data in order to plan and implement interventions to meet patient care needs.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient's plan of care and nursing actions in response to patient's needs.
• Documents care provided and patient's progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Leads and supervises others in the performance of delegated nursing activities.
• Administers medications and provides direct patient care.
