Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for ambulatory surgical and pain management patients. The RN will work with multi-system issues in a safe, therapeutic environment and lead a care team.

Required are an Associate or BSN in Nursing, NHRN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS within 3 months of hire. The role reports to the Director/Resource Nurse and includes potential supervision of others along with ongoing

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (Associates or BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Hampshire RN license.
• BCLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients effectively and safely according to facility policy.
• Teaches patients and significant others about the plan of care.
• Prepares patients to manage care after discharge.
• Manages care of simple to complex multi-system patients; administers medications safely.
• Documents patient progress and coordinates with the health care team.
• Directs and supervises nursing staff and students in delegated activities.
