Job summary

Responsibilities

• Base nursing actions on purposeful, organized clinical judgment.
• Gather data via history and physical assessment to plan and implement care.
• Develop, evaluate and revise patient plans of care.
• Document care and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care.
• Prepare patients for discharge or procedures.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Lead the healthcare team and serve as a resource on shift.
