Job summary

The Concord Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, emphasizing safety and teamwork within a multi-system assessment framework.

Required are graduation from an accredited school of nursing, NH RN license, and BLS certification; BSN is preferred. Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call for weeknights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active NH RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• OR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative nursing care.
• Gathers data through history and physical assessment to plan patient care.
• Documents care and patient progress.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patient and family about the plan of care.
• Administers medications.
