Working with nursing leadership, the role supports competency management, clinical education, onboarding, policy standardization, and continuous quality improvement using LEAN and high reliability methods.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum 3 years active clinical nursing experience.
• At least 1 year in acute care setting.
• Experience as a preceptor.
• Licensed RN in CT prior to hire date.
• NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Influence learner competency and growth in Nursing Professional Development.
• Support education programs and onboarding of Hartford HealthCare colleagues.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to standardize policies.
• Utilize LEAN and high-reliability principles.
• Deliver and evaluate educational programs.
