Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital seeks an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor for the 7p-7a shift. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager, ensuring high-quality psychiatric care and smooth after-hours operations.

You will supervise staff, coordinate staffing grids, and work with the treatment team while keeping physicians and DON informed. Sign-on bonus eligibility is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of nursing supervisor experience at minimum.
• Management/ leadership experience preferred.
• Current license in good standing in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• Possess knowledge of ANA nursing standards and Federal and State guidelines and regulatory agencies.
• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Accuracy in work performance and valuing of documentation are mandatory characteristics.
• Must possess excellent supervisory and organization skills.
• Must possess planning, organization, implementation and assessment skills.
• Must have the ability to motivate, evaluate and train employee.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee clinical areas during after-hours.
• Coordinate staffing and FTEs according to census and patient acuity.
• Collaborate with physicians, DON and Administrator-On-Call; report issues.
• Manage patient complaints with discretion and ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee codes and admissions/discharges after hours.
