Job summary

Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care for behavioral health patients on the 7 PM - 7 AM shift. You will assess needs, plan and implement care, and supervise nursing staff while coordinating with psychiatrists and other clinicians.

The role requires ADN or BSN, Texas RN license, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS; CPI is a plus. Minimum two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in behavioral healthcare.
• Valid Texas RN license in good standing required.
• BLS, ACLS; CPI certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and assess patient needs, plan and modify care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Offer social support and facilitate groups and therapeutic activities.
• Conduct intake assessments and document patient information.
• Administer and monitor medications and treatment responses.
• Coordinate with physicians on treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulations.
