Job summary

Malvern Behavioral Health seeks a Nursing Supervisor for two adult psychiatric units at our Philadelphia facility. This full-time night-shift role (7:00pm–7:30am) oversees nursing staff, coordinates care, and supports DON/Maintains high standards of patient safety.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing incidents, and ensuring documentation and treatment plans align with policy. Eligible candidates have PA RN licensure, CPR, and knowledge of Joint Commission standards; behavioral

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a nurse in PA.
• Clinical experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor unit functioning and patient care quality.
• Oversee staffing patterns and bed management with Admissions.
• Coordinate incident response and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide education and mentorship to nursing staff and act as role model.
• Ensure medication management and safety protocols are followed.
• Discharge planning and collaboration with treatment teams.
