Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near Myrtle Beach, SC, seeks an RN Supervisor for night shift with a sign-on bonus. You will oversee nursing care for psychiatric patients, coordinate staffing, and support admissions and discharges in a dynamic behavioral health setting.

You will report to the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager, supervise staff, handle patient concerns, and ensure proper documentation and codes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of nursing supervisor experience minimum.
• Current license in good standing in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
• BSN preferred.
• CPI certification preferred.
• Knowledge of ANA nursing standards and Federal and State guidelines and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent supervisory and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to psychiatric patients and oversee nursing units on after-hours shifts.
• Supervise nursing service staff and manage staffing grids based on census and patient acuity.
• Coordinate with admissions for after-hours admissions and discharges.
• Oversee all codes and ensure proper documentation.
• Inform DON, Nurse Manager, and AOC of issues and coordinate with treatment team.
