Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in the Float Pool, floated to all hospital areas. The role requires 36 hours per week with a 7pm–7am schedule and three weekend shifts per month.

Candidates should have a BSN or be pursuing one, at least 15 months of RN experience, and an NJ RN license. BLS certification and strong teamwork are essential in this environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of.
• 15 months of RN experience required.
• Active NJ RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• National Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care using the nursing process and assumes accountability for nursing care of assigned patients (infants to elderly).
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Applies knowledge across competencies (Quality, Evidence Based Practice, Leadership, Safety, Informatics, Teamwork).
• Adapts care to patient age, education, culture, and safety needs.
