Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool for night shifts (7p–7a) floated to NICU, Mother Baby, Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery, Nursery, Lactation.

The role requires a BSN or candidate pursuing it, at least 15 months RN experience, BLS and NJ RN license. National Certification is preferred. Weekend shifts are part of the rotation and adherence to policy is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of
• 15 months of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Active NJ RN license required
• National Nursing Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provides patient care through the nursing process for patients from infancy to elderly
• Works with the interprofessional health care team to coordinate care across the continuum
• Demonstrates competencies in quality improvement, evidence-based practice and safety
• Adheres to professional practice standards and maintains patient safety and confidentiality
• Provides compassionate, patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced environment
