Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to work the day shift within the Float Pool. This RN will be floated to all areas within the hospital, with a 36-hour work week and a weekend requirement of three weekend shifts per month. Education: BSN required or in pursuit.

Experience: 15 months of RN experience. Licensure: NJ RN license and BLS required; national certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required or in pursuit.
• 15 months of RN experience required.
• BLS certification required; NJ RN license required.
• National Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and ensure accountability for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Demonstrate competency in Quality Improvement, Evidence Based Practice, and Safety.
• Deliver care considering age, psycho-social, cultural, and educational needs.
• Support and guide junior staff and maintain professional practice standards.
