Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool and cover the night shift (7pm–7am) across units, 36 hours per week. This position includes weekend work (3 weekends per month) and floats to multiple areas.

Required: BSN or in progress, 15 months RN experience, NJ RN license, BLS; National Nursing Certification preferred. The role emphasizes independent nursing care, interprofessional collaboration, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of.
• 15 months of RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Active NJ RN license required.
• National Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through the nursing process and takes accountability for care.
• Collaborates with interprofessional health care team to coordinate care across units.
• Delivers care across age groups from infancy to elderly.
• Maintains safety, quality, and professionalism in practice.
• Adapts care to individual patient needs and family-centered approach.
