Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float Pool for day shifts. The role involves frequent floatation to Med-Surg areas, working 36 hours per week with a 7am–7pm schedule and a requirement of 3 weekend shifts per month.

The position requires a BSN (or in progress), 15 months RN experience, NJ RN license, and BLS certification. The hospital emphasizes professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of it.
• 15 months of RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Active NJ RN license required.
• National Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through the nursing process with accountability for assigned patients (infants to elderly).
• Demonstrates competencies in Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence Based Practice, Leadership, and Teamwork.
• Collaborates with the interprofessional health care team to coordinate care across the continuum.
