The MDS Nurse at Good Samaritan Pipestone uses independent judgment to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the nursing staff’s activities related to each resident's plan of care, and oversees the Resident Assessment Instrument process to ensure accurate assessments.

As an RN on the floor, you coordinate care with residents, families, and the inter-disciplinary team, maintain current care plans, and deliver individualized nursing care within the full scope of practice, while upholding applicable

Qualifikationen

• BSN preferred; AACN/NLN accreditation preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed nurse with seniors.
• RAC-CT certification preferred; multistate licensure acceptable.
• Current unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; CEU and competency training encouraged.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate nursing staff activities for resident care.
• Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensure accurate assessments.
• Coordinate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary team to ensure quality of life.
• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
