Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking an experienced MDS Nurse to lead resident assessments and coordinate care for our senior residents. The RN will oversee the Nursing team and drive the RAI process to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Collaborating with residents and families, you will maintain current care plans, guide staff across shifts, and ensure adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT, management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate nursing staff activities related to resident care plans.
• Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensure care plans are current.
• Assess and evaluate care for residents and coordinate with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate nursing care across shifts, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Ensure nursing practice aligns with state rules and professional ethics.
