Job summary

The MDS Nurse at Good Samaritan Pipestone uses independent judgment to plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing staff activities related to resident care plans. It leads the RAI process, conducts quarterly/annual assessments, and ensures accurate resident evaluations and care plans.

The RN provides individualized care across the nursing process and collaborates with the care team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT certification, management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and related assessments.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality life for residents.
