Job summary
Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a Registered Nurse with MDS expertise to lead resident assessments and care planning. The RN will manage the RAI process, evaluate care plans, and collaborate with families and the care team to ensure high-quality life for residents.
The role requires an RN license and preferably a RAC-CT certification, with at least one year of senior-care nursing experience. A strong emphasis on individualized care and teamwork is central to this position.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
- RAC-CT certification, management or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and evaluate resident plans of care using independent judgment.
- Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and coordinate resident assessments.
- Coordinate care with the resident, family, interdisciplinary team and providers to ensure quality of life.
