Good Samaritan Pipestone, MN seeks a Registered Nurse to lead the MDS nursing process, assess plans of care, and coordinate resident care plans. The RN will work closely with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality life for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT certification, management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• The MDS Nurse uses independent judgment in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating activities of the nursing staff engaged in resident plans of care.
• Acts as the direct lead regarding the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and completes resident assessments quarterly and annually.
• Coordinates care, resident assessment, education and other nursing interventions to ensure high quality life for residents; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
