Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a registered nurse to lead the nursing team, oversee resident care plans, and ensure quality care for seniors in a Christian, nonprofit setting.

The RN will manage assessments, RAIs, and care coordination with physicians, families, and other professionals. A current RN license, experience in senior care, and RAC-CT or supervisory background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as licensed nurse with senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT, management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing staff engaged in resident care plans.
• Lead Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and care plan accuracy.
• Coordinate resident assessments, education, and ongoing care with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff within scope.
