Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking an experienced MDS Nurse to lead assessment and care planning, coordinate the RAC/RAI process, and ensure high quality life for residents. You will collaborate with the nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to evaluate care plans and outcomes.

The role requires an RN license, a BSN preferred, and at least one year of senior-care nursing experience; advancement and education opportunities are offered in a supportive nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead resident assessment and care planning using the RN process.
• Coordinate RAC/RAI activities and ensure current care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality of life for residents.
• Provide individualized nursing care within scope of practice.
