Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a qualified MDS Nurse to lead the Resident Assessment Instrument process and oversee nursing plan of care for residents. You will assess, document, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality life for residents.

The role requires an active RN license, preferred NLN/AACN accreditation, and at least one year of experience with seniors. RAC-CT, management or supervisory experience is a plus; strong commitment to Christian-based,

Qualifications

Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
RAC-CT, management or supervisory experience preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate nursing staff engaged in resident care plans.
Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
Coordinate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to ensure ongoing quality care.
Provide nursing care and education within the standard nursing process across all stages of resident care.
