Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a Registered Nurse with MDS/RAI responsibilities to lead and coordinate resident care in a not-for-profit senior care setting.

The role requires an RN license, 1+ year of senior-population nursing experience, and RAC-CT or supervisory experience is preferred. The RN will assess residents, develop care plans, and collaborate with families and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT, management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring; multistate licensure if in NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required certifications and CEU and competency training.
• Affiliation with an outside professional nursing organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate resident nursing care and care plans.
• Lead in Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
• Assist in admission assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Coordinate with residents, families, and other providers to ensure quality care.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks while ensuring safety and quality.
