Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone in Pipestone, MN seeks an experienced MDS RN to lead resident care planning and the RAI process. The RN will assess residents, coordinate care with families and the inter-disciplinary team, and ensure current care plans are in place.

The role requires an active RN license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with a preference for RAC-CT certification and senior care experience.

Qualifications

• NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum one year experience as licensed nurse with seniors preferred.
• RAC-CT certification and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate nursing staff activities for resident care.
• Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and assessments.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate care, education, and ongoing assessment across shifts.
