Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking an RN MDS Nurse to lead resident assessment planning and evaluation. This role involves coordinating care, directing the nursing staff, and ensuring adherence to the RAI process to deliver high-quality life care for residents.

The position requires an RN license, with preferred RAC-CT or supervisory experience, and a commitment to the nursing plan of care and inter-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as licensed nurse with senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT certification, management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of practice; maintain CEU and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing activities for residents.
• Lead in Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and coordinate assessments.
• Collaborate with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate care, education, and nursing interventions; act as charge nurse when needed.
