Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a dedicated MDS Nurse to lead resident care planning and assessment. You will evaluate care quality, coordinate the RAI process, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN-accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with senior population.
• RAC-CT certification or equivalent management experience preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in state of practice; multi-state licensure if in NLC state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate resident care activities.
• Lead in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
• Perform assessments and ensure care plans are current.
• Coordinate care and educate residents and families.
