Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC seeks a Registered Nurse to oversee patient assessment processes and ensure proper reimbursement for services in a long-term care setting.

You will contribute to the MDS and CAAs, develop patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team, coordinate assessments, and support ongoing education for staff while complying with federal and state regulations. On-site role in Gettysburg area.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed by the state and in good standing.
• Prior experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility is required.
• Prior experience completing MDSs and Care Plans is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of individualized patient care plans, identify patient needs and projected outcomes.
• Contribute to the interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and MDS encoding/transmission.
• Identify changes in patient condition and coordinate scheduling/completion of assessments.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living training for new hires and ongoing staff education.
• Attend educational programs to maintain knowledge of RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.
