Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to ensure accurate reimbursement for patient care by participating in the MDS and CAAs. You will help develop care plans, identify patient needs, and coordinate assessments with an interdisciplinary team in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an active nursing license, prior MDS experience, and knowledge of long-term care regulations. Excellent collaboration and ongoing staff education are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be a RN currently licensed by the state and in good standing.
• Experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or healthcare facility is required.
• Prior experience completing MDSs and Care Plans is required.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Meet business objectives by ensuring appropriate reimbursement for patient care services.
• Participate in the Patient Assessment Process through MDS and CAAs.
• Assist in developing individualized patient care plans and identify patient needs and outcomes.
• Coordinate scheduling and completion of indicated assessments with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living training for new hires and ongoing staff education.
• Stay updated on current RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.
