Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator - RN for our long-term care facility. You will oversee the timely completion of the MDS assessment, review care plans, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements to support high-quality resident care.

The role coordinates nursing, dietary, social services, restorative and physician input to optimize reimbursement and care delivery, requiring an RN license and at least one year of LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of long-term care nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall process and tracking of Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the nursing center.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to assure achievement of maximum allowable RUG categories.
• Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
