Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN - ICU for a 13-week assignment in Roseburg, OR. The role requires a minimum of two years of ICU experience, a valid RN license, and current ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications. Units support high-acuity cardiac and respiratory cases with 1:2 nurse-patient ratios.

Shifts are days, 12 hours each, with on-call and weekend/holiday requirements as needed. Expect to work in a busy environment with MEDITECH charting and 24/7 respiratory therapy coverage.

Qualifications

• ACLs, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Titrate critical care drips (Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, Precedex).
• Serve as charge nurse or house supervisor as assigned.
• Monitor telemetry and patient status; respond to alarms promptly.
• Document in MEDITECH and coordinate care with the ICU team.

Description:The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.The unit has a capacity of 16 beds.Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2.Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.Common patient diagnoses include cardiac and respiratory conditions.Nurses are required to titrate drips such as Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, and Precedex.Charge nurse and house supervisor roles are available.There are no nurse aids on this unit.A hospitalist or intensivist is available in-house.Respiratory therapy is present in the ICU 24/7.All relevant equipment, including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP, is available.Registered nurses read telemetry strips.Shift times are from 0645 to 1915 or from 1845 to 0715.Weekend and holiday requirements include every other weekend and one major and one minor holiday.Nurses may be placed on call during low census periods, with a 30-minute response time to the unit.Floating within the unit is required based on contract stipulations.Scrub colors include black, cocoa brown, charcoal grey, navy blue, or khaki.Unit-specific orientation will be provided across two shifts.The charting system used is MEDITECH.A cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment.
