Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU assignment in Morgantown, WV. The unit has 20 beds for neuro patients and a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. You will titrate drips, monitor patients, and collaborate with intensivists and advanced practice providers to ensure critical care standards.

The role requires an active RN license, minimum 2 years ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. Shifts are 12 hours nights, 36 hours per week, with monthly weekend coverage.

Description:The Registered Nurse will work in the Intensive Care Unit.This unit has a total of 20 beds dedicated to neuro patients.The RN will care for patients with conditions such as stroke, dialysis, head bleeds, and neuro disorders requiring critical care.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1.RNs are required to titrate drips such as Levophed, phenylephrine, versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, nicardipine, and vaso.There is an intensivist available during the day and on call at night.Advanced Practice Providers are available for 24/7 coverage.Respiratory Therapy is available 24/7 in the ICU.Equipment used includes vents, BiPAP, high flow, and nasal cannula.Patient monitoring is conducted from another floor.The RN will have a preferred scheduling system with a requirement of 3 weekend shifts and 1 Friday and 1 Monday shift per month.RNs will not be placed on every holiday, but may be scheduled as needed.Charting is done using the EPIC system.Baccalaureate degree in nursing is not required for this position.The RN must hold relevant certifications and be willing to work in an acute care setting.
