Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for ICU coverage. The 13-week assignment runs nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 9-bed unit with 2:1 and 3:1 patient ratios, ventilators, Alaris pumps, and GE monitors.

Documentation is via Meditech; staff self-schedules with manager oversight, including 3–4 weekend shifts. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years ICU experience, active RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU patient care on a 9-bed unit with 2:1 and 3:1 ratios.

Description:The ICU unit has a total of 9 beds.The patient ratios are 2:1 and 3:1.All staffing consists of Registered Nurses.The unit is equipped with ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors.Documentation is done using Meditech.Staff members will self-schedule with manager oversight, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule.All staff may be required to float for critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or ED.Patient experience is prioritized through AIDET, BSSR, and achieving Press Ganey goals of 75%.The unit is certified as a Chest Pain Center and has Stroke Accreditation.Advanced skills required include ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management.Procedures performed on the unit include intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions.The required uniform is navy blue scrubs.Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided.Any additional information of interest will be made available to prospective candidates, including highlights of new equipment or technology and staff tenure.
