Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Nebraska-Kearney. The 12-hour day shifts, 12‑hour shifts, and a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio place you in a high‑acuity, fast-paced environment with trauma, cardiac, sepsis, and respiratory distress cases. Requires 2+ years of ICU experience, active RN license, and BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.

You may float to PCU or Med‑Surg as needed. Expect weekly orientation exams, a 90% open-book exam score, and the ability to titrate

Description:This position is for an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse.The unit consists of 33 beds with an average daily census of 16 patients.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2-3 for adults.Common patient diagnoses include trauma, cardiac issues, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, and respiratory distress.Nurse aides are available based on census and can assist on the floor as needed.The schedule includes self-scheduling for core staff, with restrictions on block scheduling.RN's may float to other units such as PCU or Med-Surg, maintaining similar patient ratios.Holiday and weekend shifts are required.Registered Nurses must hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
